Pay Love Forward Limited (“PLF”) is a charitable organisation incorporated in Hong Kong. PLF was founded in 2020 during the Covid Pandemic when school children were unable to attend school. Our founder saw underprivileged children making little to no progress in their learning while others continued through extra lessons. Supported by co-founders and committee members who are all passionate Christians, PLF was established in Summer 2020 with help from the principal of Tsuen Wan Catholic Primary School.
Our mission is to promote a loving and giving culture through empowering high school students, university students, young adults and retired teachers to assist children from low-income families (“the Children”) in Hong Kong by providing free English lessons, with a vision to help them achieve a brighter future. We strive to help the Children enhance their English ability via overcoming their fear, developing their interest in learning, and building their confidence in English. We also aim to help the Children develop self-confidence, self-expression, persistence, cooperation, creative and imaginative ability, as well as a complement of basic English language and communication skills.
PLF promotes the sanctity of young individuals from young primary school children to young adults. PLF is all-inclusive and embraces children and young adults of all nationalities and backgrounds. Alongside its free English lessons provided on zoom, PLF runs free Summer, Easter and Christmas workshops, Sports Days, English Drama and Dance Workshops and also provide a chance for the Children to perform in English in public, Teachers’ Formation Day for volunteers, and Mother’s and Father’s Day workshops for the Children and their parents too.
